Our university continuously strives to improve the quality of education while also aiming to provide better accommodation facilities for our students. In this regard, certain buildings have been leased by the Credit and Dormitories Institution (KYK) and converted into student dormitories, taking into consideration their physical condition, capacity, and accessibility to our academic units.

As of today, the KYK operates dormitories in the city center of Şırnak with a capacity of 450 female and 450 male students. Additionally, in Şırnak city center, there are numerous private dormitories, guesthouses affiliated with public institutions, hotels, apartment-style residences, and private rental flats available under suitable conditions to meet the accommodation needs of our students.

To date, none of our students studying either in Şırnak city center or in the surrounding districts have encountered any serious problems regarding accommodation.

Moreover, considering the rapidly increasing number of students at our university, priority has been given to the construction of new dormitories within the campus area to accommodate a large number of both female and male students. The construction work for these planned dormitories has already been initiated.
